Taking Attendance (Check-In with QR code)
This tool is only available to Rutgers Newark and RBS Courses
This article will teach you how to take Qwickly Attendance using Check-in with QR Code.
Check-In with QR Code allows students to mark attendance by scanning a QR code displayed by the instructor using the Qwickly Attendance App on their smartphones. The QR code updates every few seconds, which prevents students from sharing screenshots.
Enter your course
Click the "Qwickly Attendance" link in your course menu
Before you can take attendance using a QR code you must enable it. Click Settings, Click Preferences, and select "Require a QR code". Then click Save.
You have the option to set a automatic timer
Begin taking attendance by Selecting "Check In"
Attendance choice will default to your last selection
Click "Start Check In"
A QR code will be generated on the next screen. Students will need to scan it by using the Qwickly Attendance App.
