Enabling RU Faculty Tools in your Canvas Course
Did you know there’s an easy way to access your Rutgers Photo Roster right inside your Canvas course under RU Faculty Tools? This convenient app allows you to instantly access and view essential student details including ID photos, RUID numbers, and NetIDs, all in one place.
It’s a quick and easy way to access an overview of your enrolled students without leaving Canvas.
Scroll down to the bottom of your course menu and click Settings.
Click on the Navigation tab.
Scroll down to RU Faculty Tools, click the three dots to the right and select Enable.
This will place it at at the bottom of your course menu but you can move it higher in your course menu to a more convenient location for students by using the Move option or using a drag-and-drop method with your mouse.
Scroll down to the bottom and click the blue Save button.
