Turnitin submission outside of Canvas
These are the steps to submit a paper outside of Canvas and use Turnitin.
Login at turnitin.com
If you do not know your password please click the forgot password link below the log in screen
Once logged in, click on +Add Class
Fill out the Class settings information and click submit.
The setting below can be whatever you decide.
Select the course under class name, then click on +Add Assignment.
Fill out the information in About this page, and click submit.
Add a yourself to the assignment by clicking the Students tab, and then Add Student.
Return to the Assignments tab, and under the paper title, choose Submit from (More Actions).
Select yourself as the student, and choose the paper from your computer that you wish to upload....then click upload. Once upload click confirm, then go to assignment inbox.
On the following About this page you will be able to see the submission along with the similarity report. Click on the % to view the report.
The report will open in a new window to be viewed.
