EchoPoll and Point Solutions: Troubleshooting Missing Courses
Both EchoPoll and PointSolutions have a Canvas integration that allows you to sync your rosters as well as grades. In order to use the integration, your course must be published.
If you are ready to open your course site to students, you can do this from the course Home page, Course Settings, or the Dashboard in card view.
Click on the Home link at the top of the course menu or click the Settings link at the bottom of the course menu on the left.
Click the Unpublished status (indicated by a gray circle with a slash through it) and then select Publish (indicated by a green circle with a check) .
If you use Card View for your Dashboard, you can scroll down to the Unpublished Courses section and click the Publish button on the appropriate course's card.
If you are not ready to open the course to students yet, you can still Publish the course but set the Start Date to a future date and restrict student access.
Click on Settings at the bottom of the course menu on the left and then click on the Course Details tab if you are not already there.
Scroll down to the Participation section and set a Start Date in the future.
Select the Restrict students from viewing course before course start date option by checking the box to the left. It is also recommended that you restrict access after the End Date as well if you do not want students to have access after the semester.
Click the blue Update Course Details button at the bottom right to save your changes.
Click the Unpublished status (indicated by a gray circle with a slash through it) and then select Publish (indicated by a green circle with a check) .
