Setting Up Calendar Synchronization through Web Interface

This is a two part process where you first go into Connect and share your calendar and then go into RU-N4Success and set up the calendar integration.

Navigate to http://connect.rutgers.edu and login with your account which should be of the format NetID@domain.rutgers.edu (e.g. joymcd@newark.rutgers.edu).

Click into your calendar view and then right-click your calendar and select "Sharing Permissions" with a left-click.

Type in "[email protected]" in the field, click the "Use this address..." option which will show up just below the field as you start typing in the text.

Type in "ssc-campus-sync@connect.rutgers.edu" in the field, click the "Use this address..." option which will show up just below the field as you start typing in the text.

Select "Can edit" from the pull-down menu and then click the "Share" button.

Click "Done" at the top left.

Navigate to https://run4success.campus.eab.com and login with your NetID and password.  Click on the Calendar tool from the menu at the left and then click on "Subscriptions" tab and then "Setup Exchange Calendar Integration"

Click on the "Connect with Exchange" button. Synchronization can take up to 10 minutes to complete on initial setup.

Once it has completed, "Enabled' will be displayed with the date and time of the last synchronization.

To confirm synchronization with existing Connect calendar events, click on the Calendar tool and view the Free/Busy events in purple.
