Agile Classroom - Engelhard 301 and 303

Agile Classroom Control Settings

SYSTEM ON: Power on AV system in classroom.

SYSTEM OFF: Power off AV system in classroom.

VGA/HDMI: Select the type of connection (VGA or HDMI) between your laptop and the wall plate beneath the control system.

AUX 1: Wireless source presentation option.

SCREEN UP/DOWN: Raise or lower the presentation screen.

DISPLAY MUTE: Freeze the presentation at the current image until the required content is loaded (if you use email, Canvas, etc. with personal information, use Display Mute so it is not projected to the class)..

VOLUME: Control the volume by turning the knob to the left (softer) or to the right (louder).

Wired Connection:

To display content from a personal device using a cable, please be sure to bring a cable and any necessary dongles and adapters with you.  ATS does not provide cables, dongles, or adapters. The wall plate in the front of the classroom has both VGA and HDMI inputs.

The projector will typically default to display content from a wireless connection so after connecting the cable from your device to the wall plate, go to the control panel on the wall and select the respective button for your connection (VGA or HDMI).  The content on your device will then be projected on the screen.

Wireless Connection

To display content from a personal device via a wireless connection, you must be connected to RU Wireless Secure. When powered on, the system will automatically default to displaying the wireless connection information required.
If there was a previous user in the room, the control panel may be set to display content for a device connected via a VGA or HDMI cable but you can select the AUX 1 option on the room controller (shown in the image above, first row, third option) to display the connection information.

An image similar to the example above will appear, with connection information at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. Enter the URL (e.g. https://123.45.678.910) into your web browser (e.g Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).  You will be prompted to download and install the Crestron AirMedia software on your device if this is your first time connecting wirelessly. Open the AirMedia program and enter the URL (e.g. https://123.45.678.910) and the code (e.g. 1234) displayed on the screen.  The content from your device will be projected onto the screen wirelessly.

If you have any trouble connecting to the AirMedia device, check to make sure that your device is on RU Wireless Secure.
