Connecting to Solstice in Agile Classroom

1. Locate your Crestron panel in the classroom which is typically on the wall to the side of the screen.

2. Click the System On button to bring the screen down and turn the projector on.

3. The system should default to AUX 1.  If needed, press the button to activate.

4. Connect your laptop or mobile device to RUWireless and then connect to RUWireless Secure.  You must be on  RUWireless Secure to connect to Solstice.

5. Launch the Mersive software on your laptop or mobile device.  Software downloads available at: https://www2.mersive.com/download/ or through iTunes or Google Play Store.  

6. If you are using a mobile device, you will be prompted to enter your name and press continue. This name will be used to indicate to the class who is presenting and will be saved for future use.

7. Select the Enter IP tab, enter the IP address displayed on the monitor, and press Go. You do not need to include "http://."

8. If you are using a laptop, enter your name and press continue. This name will be used to indicate to the class who is presenting and will be saved for future use.

9. Sharing Content -

LAPTOP

Select Desktop to send everything on your computer screen to the monitor. With this method, you may share audio from your computer by turning Desktop Audio to On. If the volume on the RRC is not raised, return to the Controller and raise the slider. If you still do not hear the audio, ensure that Solstice is set as your audio output in your computer settings.

Select App Window to select an open window on your computer to send to the monitor. This method allows you to continue to keep the rest of your laptop image private.

Select Media File to select a file on your computer to display.

Use the Stop Sharing button to end sharing.

MOBILE DEVICES

Use the various sharing options (Media File, Camera, Take Video, Webview) to send images to the display. These options will vary based on the type of device you are using. Please note that, although presented as an option, mirroring is not currently available for iOS (Apple) devices.

10. A single user can share multiple images to the screen simultaneously.  In addition, multiple users can share images at once.

To relocate, remove, or add back in shared images:

Click on Control in the left side bar on a laptop or the upper left on a mobile device.

If multiple windows are shared, you may relocate an image by clicking and dragging.

To remove an image, drag it to the left side bar.

Add an image back in by dragging it back on to the main area.

In the bottom bar, right click on a user to access the ability to show their images, hide their images, stack their images, or delete them.
