Download Kaltura Capture

Downloading Kaltura Capture will allow you to record presentations from your computer without using Java.

1. Log into Blackboard, locate the My Media module, and click My Media.

2. Click the down arrow to the right of Add New and select "Kaltura Capture."

Click the down arrow to the right of Add New and select "CaptureSpace."

3. When the Kaltura Capture Desktop Recorder message appears, download either the Windows or the Mac version of the recorder.

4. On a PC, open the downloaded file by clicking the KalturaCapture file in the downloads bar at the bottom of the screen and install by following the Kaltura Capture Setup Wizard.

On a PC, open the downloaded file by clicking the Kaltura.Capturespace button in the downloads bar at the bottom of the screen.
Click Run.

5. On a Mac, locate the installation app and double-click on it. Drag the Kaltura Capture logo onto the Applications folder to install it.

6. Once it's complete, you'll see the Kaltura Capture icon on your desktop.

Once it's complete, you'll see the Kaltura CaptureSpace icon on your desktop.

7. Go back to Blackboard, click the Main tab, and click My Media again.

8. Click Add New and "Kaltura Capture" again.

Click Add New and "CaptureSpace" again.

9. When the new message appears, select Open Kaltura Capture.

When the new message appears, select Launch Application.

10. Kaltura Capture appears on your screen.

Kaltura CaptureSpace appears at the bottom right of your computer screen.
